Guidelines and Policies

NO REFUNDS

 Maid to Sparkle does not offer refunds of any sort as this work takes time. If you are not satisfied with a cleaning you have received please message us privately and we would be happy to remedy the situation to the best of our ability.



CANCELATIONS

When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other clients. 

If cancellation is necessary, we require that you let us know at least a FULL day in advance — Any cancelation MUST be made before the day before your clean. 

Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another client access to that appointment time. 

We also ask that you please understand that this is our full time job, cancelations cause a gap in our income. 


  • A 50% CANCELATION FEE will be required for any appointments terminated with less than 36 HOURS NOTICE.
  • -The cost of a 2 hour clean ($80.50) if LESS then 3 HOURS BEFORE. 
  • Future appointments cannot be booked until this fee has been paid. 
  • Continuous cancelations may also result in termination of your cleaning space. 



DEPOSITS

  • $100 DEPOSIT will be required to book our larger cleans (Deep and Move) 
  •  $80 DEPOSIT will be required to book for new clients and one time cleans. 


** Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE and NON TRANSFERABLE.**



GIFT CERTIFICATES

  • Gift Certificates will revert to dollar amount after 1 YEAR.
  • Non transferable.
  • Cannot be used towards a move clean unless specifically purchased for this purpose. 
  • Are exempt during the month of DECEMBER. 
  • Cannot be used with any other discount. 
  • Charity/donated Gift Certificates expire after SIX MONTHS.



WE DO NOT OFFER QUOTES

 Unfortunately we do not offer quotes/estimates on any of our cleans as there are far to many factors involved such as size, condition, etc. Please use our minimum time system on each clean as a guide.



NO HOLDS

 Due to our high demand we cannot hold a space without confirmation of phone number and address. If we do not hear back within 1 HOUR, your inquired space may be filled. 



ARRIVAL TIMES

 Timing is not always exact as it’s easy to run over during a clean and then taking into considertaion  the time allotted to travel to you. (Ex: traffic, delays, etc) Please allow up to an hour window on your cleaning time as sometimes it can be unavoidable. We do apologize in any inconvenience. 



SAFTEY

  • We reserve the right to deny any job task if we feel it is too unsafe or unsanitary. We will however, make every effort to accommodate the best we can. 


During the winter months -

  • Make sure there is a clear space in your driveway for us to park.
  • Make sure your driveway, walkways and steps are clear for us.
  • Make sure any ice is salted before our arrival.

**Failure to follow these steps may result in a canceled appointment for that scheduled day.**



MULTIPLE CLEANERS

 In some cases on larger jobs or if there is a time constraint we will add a second cleaner. In these cases the cost will be PER cleaner as your timing would be cut in half of the inital time neccesary for one cleaner. 

(Ex: 3 hours = 6 hours total paid)



TIME LIMITS

 We will no longer allow time constraints on cleanings. Due to being unable to guarantee a finish and more importantly, directly impacting our quality of work.



NO PHOTO PROFILES

 If your Facebook/Instagram profile has no photo or little activity, please be advised we may not respond to your messages. 



DEEP & MOVE CLEANS 

  • Included in our deep clean is dusting beneath furniture, which involves moving of the furniture. By requesting a deep clean clients accept that Maid To Sparkle will not be held liable for any damage that may be incurred. Please let us know previous to cleaning time if you are uncomfortable with this. 
  • Fridges and cupboards MUST be empty for cleaning. 
  • Window screens must be removed.
  • We cannot guarantee a complete clean on blinds as in some cases there is no choice but to soak them in the tub, but we will make every effort possible.
  • We do not clean inside of "self clean ovens" as this can damage the machine as per the instruction manual.
  • We will only clean light fixtures that are accessible and do not remove them from your ceiling unless taken down by the homeowner.


THIS & THAT

  • We do not clean ornaments of any sort on dressers, shelves, etc for caution of breaking, we may just lift to clean beneath. If you are not comfortable with us moving ornaments please be sure to let us know beforehand as we cannot be held liable for accidents.
  • Please insure all areas are free of large amounts of clutter, areas may be skipped or cleaned around if we are unable to get to them or would require to move too many items.
